Isn’t it silly? I used up my sample yarn from the Blanket Scrabble and had to buy more to finish this.
I made this to fit my Ugly Teapot, which you last saw covered in Other Nana’s Tea Cozy. But I misjudged my sizing and ended up making it too big! I tried it on my Avanti Teapot, but it’s still too big, so I think the only way to fix this dilemma is to buy a larger teapot!
Stay silly
Xx
Update 3 December 2011: The pattern for this tea cozy I found through Ravelry, but here’s a direct link to crochetroo’s original blog post! Enjoy

I quite like it big. It looks like a skirt along the bottom. But, like coffee, you can never have a teapot too big
Hehe on my smaller pot it is a little difficult to put the pot down again, but on this one it’s okay
Another tea pot, defiantly, I mean, it’s too pretty!!! You are making me crave pastels, and I’d have to buy more yarn, oh woe is me
Moderation is the key! says one compulsive creative crochetist to another… Haha!
And the key! the key! must be to ignore it completely, luckily I can’t afford yarn…. till my next paycheck WAHAHAHAHAHA.
Yes, ignoring it helps too!
hehe
i think it’s adorable as it is… that pattern looks just like my cowel!!! thanks for stopping by!
Thanks! I saw a great teal scalloped one on Pinterest, maybe it was yours?
This is gorgeous!
Thank you!
Hi Morgan! You have done a great piece. I like that the nose of the tea pot sticks out just a bit, also that the cover looks like skirt. It gives a feeling that tea does stay warm quite longer. How is it?
It´s a cool crochet pattern! I don´t see the pattern in this post. Do you have it posted somewhere?
Laura
Thanks!
I do love it on this tea pot, but I won’t let that stop me collecting tea pots! Honestly I haven’t tested it yet, I haven’t been home long enough to enjoy a whole pot of tea. But things are looking good for tomorrow, so I shall experiment.
Silly me, I didn’t include a link to the original pattern! I did connect it on my Ravelry page, but that’s a bit of an internet-hike to find it I know
Anyway, post updated and direct link to crochetroo’s pattern above! Thanks for picking that up! (Nice blog BTW, *Subscribe*
